The Caixa University credit card is aimed at students regularly enrolled in public or private higher education institutions (undergraduate, postgraduate, master's or doctoral) from the 1st semester onwards.
In addition to special rates, the card can even be used abroad, depending on the modality.

How does the Caixa University credit card work?
- Credit limit set at R$ 800.00.
- No interest and no down payment (conditions offered by some establishments).
- Airline tickets and (inter)national tourist packages, as long as they are in Reais.
- Continuous financing system. You can deposit the outstanding balance of the invoice, including international purchases, after the minimum amount indicated on the invoice. The remaining balance to be paid on the next invoice is subject to fees. Revolving credit can only be used for 30 days. After this period, the outstanding balance plus charges will fully constitute the Minimum Payment for the next invoice.

Note: The original proof of enrolment issued by the educational institution recognised by the MEC must be presented in accordance with the period in progress.

The annual fee for the Caixa card is R$ 207.00 or 12 x R$ 17.25. With a discount of 75% on the first annual fee. The annual fee is only charged once the card has been unblocked.
How do I increase my credit limit?
You can send a request to the agency after submitting the documentation for credit analysis. Documentation required (originals and copies):
- Personal identity document (during the period of validity);
- CPF;
- Up-to-date proof of residence;
- Up-to-date proof of income.

The Caixa Points Programme is a reward system that awards points in proportion to the use of the Caixa University credit card.
Purchases made in Brazil and abroad with participating cards automatically accumulate points that can be redeemed and used in the following programmes: Tudo Azul, Smiles, LATAM PASS, TAP Miles & Go, In Mais and Dotz.
